Taurus is a Chrome extension that displays Polymarket prediction market data on X.com (Twitter) and allows users to place trades directly from their feed.
We read publicly visible tweet text from X.com to match it against active Polymarket prediction markets. Tweet text, tweet IDs, and matched market IDs are sent to our server for matching and analytics. We do not access private messages or non-public content.
If you connect a Web3 wallet (e.g., MetaMask), we collect your public Ethereum wallet address and blockchain chain ID. We use this to query your trading positions and execute trades on your behalf. We never access or store your private keys or seed phrase.
We collect and process trading data including: positions (shares, price, P&L), signed trade orders, transaction hashes, and auto-exit rule configurations. This data is necessary to execute trades on Polymarket and Uniswap and to monitor your positions for automated exits.
When you execute a trade, we request EIP-712 and personal_sign cryptographic signatures via your wallet. These signatures are sent to our backend to authenticate and submit orders. Signatures are not stored long-term.
We generate a random, anonymous install ID (UUID) stored locally to associate your settings, insights, and auto-exit rules with your extension instance. This is not linked to any personal identity.
